DevOps and Platform Engineering
CI/CD, GitOps, Kubernetes, OpenShift and service mesh engineering that makes releases routine and environments consistent.
Overview
A platform should make the safe path the easy path for developers. We build delivery pipelines, container platforms and policy guardrails so teams ship often without surprising operations.
We match the platform to the workload. Azure Container Apps suits many web services and APIs without the overhead of running a cluster. Azure Kubernetes Service, Amazon EKS, Google GKE or Red Hat OpenShift make sense when you need fine-grained scheduling, operators, service mesh or multi-team tenancy. These are different tools, and we treat them that way.
On Kubernetes we work with GitOps through Argo CD, Istio for traffic management and mutual TLS, and Kyverno for policy as code, alongside the certificate, DNS and load-balancing pieces that a production platform depends on.
Problems we address
- Manual, ticket-driven deployments that happen rarely and fail often
- Configuration drift between environments
- Clusters that work but nobody is confident upgrading
- No consistent way to enforce image, resource or security standards
- Expired certificates and DNS changes causing avoidable outages
What we deliver
- CI/CD pipeline engineering
- Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and AWS CodeDeploy pipelines with tests, scans and approvals.
- GitOps
- Argo CD-driven deployments where Git is the record of what runs where.
- Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Cluster design, upgrades, node pools, autoscaling, operators and multi-tenant namespaces.
- Container Apps and managed runtimes
- Right-sized hosting on Azure Container Apps or similar when a full cluster is unnecessary.
- Service mesh
- Istio gateways, routing, retries, mutual TLS and mesh observability.
- Policy as code
- Kyverno policies for image provenance, resource limits, security context and labelling.
- Release and environment management
- Promotion flows, feature flags, progressive delivery and standardised environments.
- Certificates, DNS and load balancing
- Automated certificate lifecycle, managed DNS and ingress or gateway configuration.

Example use cases
Illustrations of the kind of work this covers.
- Turning a manual monthly release into an automated, approved pipeline
- Introducing GitOps so every environment change is reviewed and reversible
- Planning and rehearsing a Kubernetes or OpenShift version upgrade
- Adding admission policies that block unsafe workloads before they run

Delivery approach
Discover
Understand the business goal, the systems in place and the constraints: budget, compliance, skills and timelines.
Design
Agree an architecture and delivery plan, with the trade-offs written down and the risks named early.
Build
Deliver in small, reviewed increments with automated tests, infrastructure as code and regular demonstrations.
Launch
Release through pipelines with monitoring, rollback paths and runbooks in place before go-live.
Operate and improve
Run, measure and refine, or hand over fully documented to your own team.
